Lots of new updates on the Breaking Dawn movies' progress! First, Production Weekly has tweeted the filming dates set for BD:

"Production schedule for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn", filming begins Monday, November 8, 2010 and wraps photography April 22, 2011."

And the official summaries for both movies have been released (via Collider)!

In the highly anticipated next chapter of the blockbuster The Twilight Saga, the newfound married bliss of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is cut short when a series of betrayals and misfortunes threatens to destroy their world.

After their wedding, Bella and Edward travel to Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon, where they finally give in to their passions. Bella soon discovers she is pregnant, and during a nearly fatal childbirth, Edward finally fulfills her wish to become immortal.

But the arrival of their remarkable daughter, Renesmee, sets in motion a perilous chain of events that pits the Cullens and their allies against the Volturi, the fearsome council of vampire leaders, setting the stage for an all-out battle.

The suspenseful and deeply romantic Breaking Dawn continues the epic tale of supernatural fantasy and passionate love that has made The Twilight Saga a worldwide phenomenon.

And filming in Brazil will be starting in just a few hours! Several streets in Rio have been blocked, and they are changing the names on the street signs and adding some graffiti. Exactly what scene they'll be filming there, we don't know. Some say they will film Edward and Bella driving through the city in a taxi, and some speculate that it could be a shot for Bella's vision of Jacob and Nessie on the run in Rio. But since no one has seen Taylor Lautner or Mackenizie Foy in Brazil, it doesn't look like option #2 is right.

But Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and
Stephenie Meyer, have all been seen in Rio! In fact, one Brazilian fan, Bruna, got to meet all three after they arrived at the airport! Here is her account of the encounter:

She [Bruna] was the first one to take pictures with Robert, Kristen and Stephenie Meyer today, on their arrival to Brazil. Bruna told us that she woke up at 4:10 a.m., went to pick up her friend Joana and then went to Tom Jobim International Airport, where they waited until 10am. “It was very tense to wait that long,” she said. After a long wait, the time has come. The first one to be seen was Robert: “The first thing I saw was Rob, then I started calling him, of course, being civilized, but his agent was
pushing me, then I got desperate, because he kept saying that I could not take any pictures,” she said. But Bruna did not give up, “It was me and a few other girls, so I ran and grabbed his hand, took the picture and gave him the shirt from Brazil, I said that it was from all the Twilight fans and that I loved him very much. He laughed, thanked me and gave me a hug.” After regaining
consciousness (who wouldn’t lose it, right?) Bruna realized that Kristen was by herself and used the chance to get closer to the actress, “I ran to go talk to her, then she thanked me, gave me a hug and took a picture and everything. Then they were gone, ” she told us. And Bruna was so close to not see Stephenie Meyer! “I was leaving, so then I heard ‘hey, isnt that the woman who wrote the book?’ And when I looked it was Stephenie. I look at her all scared and she laughed. Then I said that I admired her work and
she started talking to me.” At the end of our conversation, the brazilian fan said that everyone seemed very happy...

And someone actually filmed a bit of Bruna's moment with Kristen:

Now Rob, Kristen, and Stephenie are all staying at the famous Copacabana hotel, where most celebrities stay when in Brazil. Of course the huge crowd of fans now surrounding the hotel was to be expected. A Brazilian news channel has coverage of the fans both at the airport and the hotel. It's in Portuguese, but you can still get the idea:
