There was a short lived rumor that Lucas Grabeel (from High School Musical) had been chosen to play Alec in the New Moon movie. But PopStar asked Lucas if the rumors were true, and he confirmed that they were not.

Now here's a rumor that has a better chance of being true: According to Celebuzz, Robert Pattinson might be on the cover of the April issue of GQ.
